Abstract

　工業的に有用な改良型ハロヒドリンエポキシダーゼ、その製造方法、及びそれを用いたエピハロヒドリン又は４－ハロ－３－ヒドロキシブチロニトリルの製造方法を提供する。本発明の改良型ハロヒドリンエポキシダーゼは、所定のアミノ酸配列Ｉ及びアミノ酸配列IIを含む野生型ハロヒドリンエポキシダーゼのアミノ酸配列に対して特定のアミノ酸置換変異が導入されたアミノ酸配列からなるものである。
