Abstract

L'invention concerne un agent désintégrant qui présente un effet de désintégration satisfaisant. L'invention concerne également un comprimé ou un granule contenant l'agent désintégrant. L'agent désintégrant comprend une gomme xanthane modifiée qui est produite par le traitement thermique d'une gomme xanthane purifiée, tout en maintenant sa forme pulvérulente. Le comprimé ou le granule contient l'agent désintégrant dans une quantité comprise entre 0,1 et 30 % en poids. La gomme xanthane modifiée est de préférence préparée sous une forme insoluble dans l'eau. La gomme xanthane modifiée est de préférence traitée thermiquement à une température se situant dans la plage de 50 à 250 °C compris. Le traitement thermique est de préférence effectué pendant une période de 10 secondes à 1000 heures.
