Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé de thermoformage destiné à former un matériau composite obtenu en stratifiant un acide polylactique et un acide polyglycolique, grâce auquel des résines biodégradables peuvent être efficacement améliorées en termes de propriétés de barrière contre les gaz et de résistance thermique sur une courte période sans être altérées en ce qui concerne la longévité en service. La présente invention concerne un procédé de thermoformage de feuilles stratifiées biodégradables qui comprend la stratification d'un film d'acide polyglycolique avec un film d'acide polylactique sur un ou les deux côtés du film d'acide polyglycolique afin de préparer une feuille stratifiée biodégradable, le préchauffage de la feuille stratifiée à une température allant de 60 à 160 °C, la compression d'un moule métallique chauffé à une température allant de 90 à 160 °C contre la feuille stratifiée et le maintien du système résultant en tant que tel sur une période de 3 à 60 secondes afin de réaliser tant la formation de la feuille par la compression à chaud que la cristallisation du film d'acide polyglycolique constituant le stratifié. Selon le procédé, une feuille stratifiée biodégradable ayant une constitution en couche prédéfinie est soumise à un préchauffage prédéfini et ensuite mise en contact avec un moule métallique sous compression, moyennant quoi la cristallisation du film d'acide polyglycolique est réalisée de manière plus efficace dans le procédé que dans un procédé de chauffage à sec, ce qui permet d'améliorer les propriétés de barrière contre les gaz et la résistance thermique sur une courte période.
