また、繰返し単位
このタルクの添加量はPETに対し2〜15重量%、好ましくは3〜10重量%が適当である。
タルクの平均粒径は、20μm以下が好ましく、10μm以下がより好ましい。平均粒径が20μmを超えると、分散が悪くなり、又同じ添加量でも核剤としての数が少なくなる。下限は特に制限されないが、通常0.5μmまでが実用的である。
PET樹脂(ユニチカ(株)製「MA−2101M」:固有粘度0.62dl/g、水分量2,900ppm)83重量部と、タルクMB(東京インキ(株)製「PEX1470」:LPDE30重量%+タルク重量70%)10重量部と、鎖延長剤MB(明彩化学(株)試作品:PETG70重量%+BASFジャパン(株)製ADR4368S30重量%)1重量部と、白色顔料MB(大日本インキ(株)製「L−9583」:PET50重量%+白色顔料50重量%)4重量部と、相溶化剤(ARKEMA社製「LOTADER AX8840」)2重量部とを、重量式定量フィーダを用いて夫々を計量し、混合機で均一に混合した。
このPET樹脂材(主層用)を主押出機(日本製鋼所(株)製「TEX105α」:L/D=31.5、2軸、2ベント孔)に投入し、押出温度280℃、ベント孔から−101kPaの高真空下で吸引・脱気しながら押出すとともに、PET樹脂(内層用:ユニチカ(株)製「MA−2101M」:固有粘度0.62dl/g、水分量2,900ppm)を、副押出機(日本製鋼所(株)製「TEX65α」:L/D=31.5、2軸、2ベント孔)に投入し、押出温度280℃、両ベント孔から−101kPaの高真空下で吸引・脱気しながら押出し、Tダイより共押出で主層と内層とから成る積層シートを成形した。
連続押出し中のスクリュー及び真空吸引を一時停止し、主押出し機、副押出し機の第1及び第2ベント孔位置の樹脂をサンプリングし、含有水分量を測定した。水分測定はプラスチック用水分気化装置(京都電子工業(株)製「ADP−351型」)及びカールフィッシャー水分計(京都電子工業(株)製「MKC−210型」)を用いた。結果を表1に示す。
前記積層シートを1cm×2cmの大きさに裁断して食品トレーの裁断片を作製し、そして、表裏の表面積が全体で250m2に相当する量の多数の裁断片を、500mlスリ合せ共栓付の硝子製の三角フラスコに投入した。次に、40℃の室で40℃のN2ガスで三角フラスコ中の空気を置換した(N2ガス2ml/表面積1cm2)後、共栓で密封し、40℃で24時間放置した。
真空・圧空成形機((株)脇坂エンジニアリング製「FVS−5000P」)を用い、成形金型を雌金型と雄金型の金型間隔が1.0mmになるように相似形で作製し、雌金型と雄金型両方に0.7mmの真空・圧空口を形成して真空と圧空を切り替えて吸引と圧空吹込みが出来るようにした。金型形状は雌金型として上部径128mmΦ、下部径95mmΦ、深さ35mmとして下部コーナーを丸みを取ったR形状とした。
成形品の底部の一部を切り取りその10.0mgをサンプルとし、示差走査熱量計(セイコー電子「DSC220」)で各熱量を求め、下記式に基づいて算出した。測定条件は測定サンプル(10.0mg)に窒素50ml/min.を流しながら昇温速度10℃/min.20〜300℃まで昇温して測定した。
前述したようにPETの非晶部分の軟らかい海に固体であるPETの結晶部分とタルクの合計量が耐熱性に寄与し、その存在する量が耐熱性を左右する。
成形品を200℃の恒温乾燥機に入れ20分間放置した。外観を観察したところちぢれやしわもなく何の変形もなくテスト前の形状を保持していた。DSCで結晶化度を測定したところテスト前の21.9%がテスト後では25.8%となり結晶化が進んでいると考えられ200℃で0分、10分、20分、30分の経時による結晶化度を測定した。結果を表3に示す。
成形容器に市販の冷凍グラタンを入れ、オーブンで250℃−15分間の加熱調理を行なった。グラタンは良く調理されており、中身を取り出し、水洗後容器の変形の有無、内層のPET樹脂層の外観を観察したが、ちぢれやよじれ等の変形もなくまた内面のPET樹脂層も何の変化もなかった。
主押出機用として、PET樹脂(ユニチカ(株)製「MA−2101M」)84重量部と、鎖延長剤MB(明彩化学(株)試作」)1重量部と、タルクMB(東京インキ(株)製「PEX1470」)10重量部と、相溶化剤(ARKEMA社製「LOTADER AX8840」2重量部と、黒色顔料MB(大日本インキ(株)「BK−250DCT」:PET70%+黒色顔料30%)3重量部とから成るPET樹脂材を用い、副押出機用として、PET樹脂(ユニチカ(株)製「MA−2101M」)を用いた他は、実施例1と同一の装置及び条件で、主層(300μm)/内層(30μm)総厚330μmの積層シートを作製した。なお、印刷フイルムは貼合していない。
実施例1と全く同一の真空・圧空成形機及び金型を用い、雄金型を加熱金型、雌金型を冷却金型として成形した。すなわち、前記積層シートを加熱ヒーターで表面温度が130℃になるように加熱して軟化させた後、170℃に設定した雄金型の真空・圧空口を真空にし、70℃に設定した雌金型の真空・圧空口を圧空にして0.5MPaの圧空を吹き込み、5.0秒間積層シートを雄金型に密着させて容器に成形し、次いで雌金型の真空・圧空口を真空にするとともに雄金型の真空・圧空口を圧空にして0.5MPaの圧空を吹き込み、容器を雌金型に密着させて冷却し、容器を取り出した。成形品は金型からの離型も良く、しわ、変形もなく完全に金型形状を再現していた。
実施例1と同様、底部の一部を切り取りDSCによって結晶化度を測定した。結果23.0%であった。タルクの含有量7%と合わせ、

Claims (4)
- PET樹脂層からなる内層が、共押出法により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の耐熱食品容器。
- A−PETフイルム又はA−PETフイルムをMD方向に1.5〜2.5倍延伸したフイルムにグラビア印刷を施した印刷フイルムからなる外層が、熱貼合により形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の耐熱食品容器。
- 主層となるPET樹脂に3個以上のエポキシ基を有する鎖延長剤とエチレン/アクリル酸/グリシジルメタクリレートコポリマーの相溶化剤とタルク2〜15重量%を添加し、ベント孔が2以上の主押出機に投入するとともに、内層となるPET樹脂をベント孔が1以上の副押出機に投入し、夫々のPET樹脂が加熱・溶融した状態でベント孔から−99.99kPa以上の高真空下で吸引・脱気した後、共押出法により主層と内層とを形成し、該主層に、A−PETフイルム又はA−PETフイルムをMD方向に1.5〜2.5倍延伸したフイルムにグラビア印刷を施した印刷フイルムからなる外層を熱貼合により積層し、該内層、主層及び外層からなる積層シートを熱成形機で真空・圧空形成し、成形金型内で100℃〜220℃に保持することを特徴とする耐熱食品容器の製造方法。
