発明を実施するための最良の形態
[0028] 本発明は、トリァザスマネン類の合成に世界で初めて成功したものであり、下記式 (I )で表される本発明の化合物 (すなわち、トリァザスマネン及びその誘導体)とその製 造方法とを確立した。また、本発明の製造方法により、トリァザスマネン類を温和な条 件で大量に合成することができる。さらに本発明によって汎用可能なトリァザスマネン 類の合成ルートを確立できたことにより、原料として様々な化合物を用いたり、公知の
官能基導入法や変換法を用いて、種々のトリァザスマネン類を合成することが可能で ある。
また、本発明のトリァザスマネン類を合成原料として、未知のへテロフラーレン類等 の合成も可能である。

3量ィ匕工程において、 3量ィ匕する 3分子は、前記式 (VI)又は (VII)で表される化合 物であれば、それぞれ異なる分子を用いてもよいが、同一の 3分子を用いることが好 ましぐ光学活性体としても同一な 3分子を用いることがより好ましい。
3量ィ匕工程では、 2量化続 、てもう 1分子を反応させると!ヽうような段階的な 3量ィ匕で もよぐ一段階で 3量ィ匕を行ってもよい。
前記式 (VI)又は (VII)で表される化合物の 3量ィ匕を行う手段としては、特に制限は ないが、例えば、遷移金属触媒を用いたカップリング反応が好ましく挙げられる。遷 移金属触媒を用いたカップリング反応としては、パラジウム触媒を用いた反応がより 好ましく挙げられる。

また、非対称の 3量化体を製造する方法としては、例えば、前記式 (VI)又は (VII)で 表される化合物の Xをそれぞれ Cl、 Br、及び、 I等とし、反応性の違いを利用して合 成する方法等が好ましく挙げられる。
遷移金属触媒を用いたカップリング反応としては、例えば、 Heck型反応等が挙げ られ、 3;た、「し omprehensive Organometallic Chemistry II」 E. W. Abel et al. (199o 等を参照することができる。下記 Scheme4に示すように、式 (VI)で表される化合物 3 分子が遷移金属触媒により、 2量化、続く 3量化が起こり、式 (V)で表される化合物で ある化合物 (V-A)が得られる。

また、反応時間や反応温度に関しても、反応が進行する限り特に制限はない。

本発明におけるアミド交換工程は、前記式 (V)で表される化合物のアミド交換反応 により前記式 (IV)で表される化合物を得る工程である。
アミド交換工程は、式 (V)で表される化合物中の環を形成する 3つのアミド基を加水 分解し、熱力学的に安定な環構造を形成するよう再度アミド化し、式 (IV)で表される 化合物を得る工程である。
式 (V)で表される化合物と式 (IV)で表される化合物とを比較すると、式 (V)の化合 物では環状アミド基がァザビシクロへプテノン環部位であるため、式 (IV)の化合物が より熱力学的に安定であり、環を形成する 3つのアミド基を加水分解した後、熱力学 支配の反応条件で再度アミド化すると式 (IV)で表される化合物が得られる。

水素化反応としては、公知の方法を用いることができ、一例としては、 Bull. Korean Chem. So , 21, 211-214 (1999)に記載の方法を挙げることができる。
遷移金属触媒としては、水素化反応が可能なものであれば特に制限はなぐパラジ ゥム触媒やロジウム触媒、チタン触媒等が例示できる。水素源としては、水素化反応
にお 、て遷移金属触媒へ水素供与可能なものであれば特に制限はなぐシクロへキ サジェンゃ水素分子、トリアルキルシラン、アルミニウムヒドリド等が例示できる。

Soc, 127, 11580-11581 (2005)に記載の方法と同 様な方法で、トリァザスマネンに塩基を作用させ、求電子剤を反応させることにより、ト リアザスマネンのベンジル位(トリァザスマネン環の飽和炭素)に種々の官能基を導 入することができる。なお、前記塩基としては、ベンジル位にァ-オンを生成すること ができるものであれば特に制限はな 、が、トリァザスマネンに対しリチウムジイソプロピ ルアミドを作用させることが好ましい。前記求電子剤としては、ベンジル位に生成した ァニオンに反応する公知の求電子剤であれば特に制限はな 、が、モノハロゲノシラ ン類ゃアルデヒド類が好ましく挙げられる。また、トリァザスマネン環のベンジル位へ の置換基導入法は、上記一例に限定されるものではなぐ公知の方法を応用して用 いることがでさる。
