Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément de protection contre les hautes eaux (1) pour obturer des ouvertures de bâtiments, telles que des fenêtres, des portes ou similaires, ainsi que pour surélever temporairement des digues. L'invention vise à ce que ledit élément de protection contre les hautes eaux qui est pourvu d'éléments de fixation à fixer sur un bâtiment et/ou servant à fixer un élément voisin, soit aisé à monter et à produire, qui soit facile à manipuler et économique à produire. A cet effet, l'élément de protection contre les hautes eaux (1) se présente sous forme de profilé creux en métal léger et comporte une garniture d'étanchéité (4) (connue en soi) se présentant sous forme de cadre, destinée à être appliquée sur la surface du bâtiment, une nervure d'étanchéité (2), sur au moins une face et une rainure d'insertion (3) pour cette nervure d'étanchéité (2), sur au moins une face opposée.
