Abstract

Es wird ein Sicherheitsschuh mit einer Profilsohle beschrieben. Die Profilsohle weist mindestens einen optisch vom restlichen Teil der Sohle unterscheidbaren Abschnitt auf, der bei einer bestimmten Abnutzung des Profils erkennbar wird. Auf diese Weise ist ein Sicherheitsmerkmal vorgesehen, das den Benutzer des Sicherheitsschuhs anweist, den Schuh zu wechseln, wenn eine bestimmte Mindestprofiltiefe erreicht ist.

Description

Sicherheitsschuh und Profilsohle für denselben
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Sicherheitsschuh mit einer Profilsohle, ferner eine Profilsohle für einen derartigen Schuh.
Sicherheitsschuhe werden von bestimmten Personen benötigt, deren Tätigkeit einen entsprechenden Schutz ihrer Füße erfordert. Darüber hinaus sollen derartige Sicherheitsschuhe für eine verbesserte Standfestigkeit mit rutschhemmender Eigenschaft der sie tragenden Person sorgen. Sie sind daher mit entsprechenden Sicherheitsmerkmalen, wie Stahlkappen, Profilsohlen etc., ausgestattet .
Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil von derartigen Sicherheits- schuhe sind geeignete Profilsohlen, um einer Rutschgefahr vorzubeugen. Diese Profilsohlen erfüllen ihre Auf- gäbe im neuen Zustand, werden jedoch im Laufe der Zeit, je nach den vorherrschenden Bedingungen, immer mehr abgenutzt, so daß letztendlich ein gefahrlicher Zustand entsteht, indem die erforderliche Sicherheit gegenüber Rutschen nicht mehr erreicht wird. Wird dieser Zustand erreicht, sind die Sicherheitsschuhe nicht mehr verwendbar, da bei modernen Schuhen das Erneuern der Sohle bzw. Anbringen einer neuen Sohle nicht mehr in Frage kommt. In der Praxis wird jedoch in der Regel der geeignete Zeitpunkt zum Austausch der Schuhe verpaßt, sei es aus Unachtsamkeit, aus Kostengründen etc., so daß Sicherheitsschuhe mit abgenutzten Profilen getragen werden, die die erforderlich Rutschsicherheit nicht mehr bieten.
Ähnlich wie bei Autoreifen ist daher eine bestimmte minimale Profiltiefe erforderlich, um für die erforderliche Bodenhaftung zu sorgen.
Die vorliegende Erfindung will der vorstehend geschil- derten Problematik abhelfen. Ihr liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Sicherheitsschuh zu schaffen, der ein Sicherheitsmerkmal aufweist, das anzeigt, wenn die erforderliche Mindestprofiltiefe erreicht wird, ferner eine Profilsohle für einen derartigen Schuh.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß bei einem Sicherheitsschuh mit einer Profilsohle dadurch gelöst, daß die Profilsohle mindestens einen optisch vom restlichen Teil der Profilsohle unterscheidbaren Abschnitt aufweist, der bei einer bestimmten Abnutzung des Profils erkennbar wird. Die Erfindung sieht daher ein Sicherheitsmerkmal vor, das den Benutzer des Sicherheitsschuhs mit zunehmender Abnutzung des Profils der Sohle darauf aufmerksam macht, wenn die gerade noch ausreichende Rutschsicherheit bietende Mindestprofiltiefe erreicht ist und ein weiteres Tragen des Schuhs gefährlich wird. Der Benutzer muß daher nicht mehr die Profiltiefe abschätzen bzw. genau abmessen, um den Zeitpunkt ermitteln zu können, an dem die Schuhe nicht mehr verwendbar sind. Hinzu kommt, daß der Benutzer in den meisten Fällen überhaupt nicht weiß, welche Profiltiefe noch ausreichende Sicherheit bietet, so daß die erfindungsgemäße Lösung auch diesem Problem abhilft und beim Sichtbarwerden des optisch vom restli- chen Teil der Profilsohle unterscheidbaren Abschnitts deutlich macht, daß nunmehr ein Austausch des Schuhs angebracht ist.
Der erfindungsgemäß vorgesehene Abschnitt sollte sich optisch deutlich vom restlichen Teil der Profilsohle unterscheiden, beispielsweise eine rote Farbe besitzen, so daß bei den in der Regel dunkel eingefärbten Profilsohlen von Sicherheitsschuhen ein deutlich erkennbares Sicherheitsmerkmal gegeben ist. Dies schließt natürlich nicht aus, daß erfindungsgemäß auch andersfarbige Abschnitte verwendet werden können. Wesentlich ist, daß ein ausreichender Kontrast zum restlichen Teil der Profilsohle gegeben ist.
Der erfindungsgemäß vorgesehene Abschnitt ist im ungebrauchten Zustand des Sicherheitsschuhs und im Zustand der zulassigen Profilabnutzung nicht erkennbar. Der Trager des Schuhs weiß damit, daß die Profilsohle noch ausreichende Rutschsicherheit bietet. Wird der erfmdungsgemaß vorgesehene Abschnitt mit zunehmender Abnutzung des Profils freigelegt, ist der Zeitpunkt erreicht, an dem ein Austausch des Schuhs erforderlich ist.
Der erfmdungsgemaß vorgesehene Abschnitt ist vorzugsweise in das Profil der Sohle eingearbeitet. Er ist zweckmaßigerweise vollständig von einem Profilabschnitt bzw. einer Profilleiste ummantelt, so daß sich auch eine seitliche Abdeckung des Abschnittes ergibt.
Bei einer besonders bevorzugten Ausfuhrungsform besteht der erf dungsgemaße Abschnitt aus einem anderen Material als die restliche Profilsohle. Dieser Abschnitt aus anderem Material wird vorzugsweise beim Herstellen der Sohle in diese emgeschäumt, so daß sich ein inniger Verbund mit dem restlichen Sohlenmaterial ergibt und im wesentlichen keine Inhomogenitäten in der Sohle auftreten, die diese durchlassig machen oder den Tragekomfort des Schuhs reduzieren konnten. Ein besonders geeignetes Material für den erf dungsgemaß vorgesehenen Abschnitt ist Polyurethan aber auch Nitrilbutadienkautschuk oder TPU (thermoplastisches Polyurethan).
Es versteht sich, daß die vorstehend beschriebenen Pro- filsohlen m der Regel nicht gleichmäßig abgenutzt werden, j e nach Verwendungsart und Gangart sowie Abrollbe- wegung des Fußes. So sind beispielsweise der Vorderbereich und Absatzbereich der Sohle besonders starken Ab- nutzungen ausgesetzt, wahrend der mittlere Sohlenbereich relativ lange ein intaktes Profil tragt. Um diesen unterschiedlichen Abnutzungsmoglichkeiten gerecht zu werden, sieht die Erfindung vor, daß die Profilsohle mehre- re optisch vom restlichen Teil der Sohle unterscheidbare Abschnitte aufweist, so daß auch bei einer örtlich begrenzten Abnutzung der Profilsohle dafür Sorge getragen wird, daß eine das zulassige Maß überschreitende Abnutzung angezeigt wird. Die erf dungsgemaß vorgesehenen Abschnitte sind daher vorzugsweise an mehreren Stellen über die Sohle verteilt angeordnet, so daß insbesondere die kritischen Abnutzungsbereiche erfaßt werden.
Es ist daher zweckmäßig, insbesondere im Spitzenbereich der Sohle und im Fersenbereich derselben mindestens einen erfmdungsgemaßen Abschnitt vorzusehen.
Die Lage des erf dungsgemaßen Abschnittes in Tiefenrichtung der Sohle richtet sich nach dem zulassigen Ab- nutzungsbereich des Profils. Wesentlich ist, daß der Abschnitt mit seiner Unterseite so angeordnet ist, daß bei seiner Freilegung, d.h. Abnutzung des darunter befindlichen Sohlenmaterials, die minimal zulassige Profiltiefe erreicht ist. Die entsprechenden Tiefenwerte können von Anwendungsfall zu Anwendungsfall variieren, so daß hier auf die Angabe von Zahlenwerten verzichtet wird.
Die vorstehende Aufgabe wird ferner durch eine Profilsohle für einen derartigen Schuh gelost. Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand eines Ausfuhrungs- beispiels in Verbindung mit der Zeichnung im einzelnen erläutert. Es zeigen:
Figur 1 eine Seitenansicht eines Sicherheitsschuhs mit Profilsohle; und
Figur 2 einen mittigen Vertikalschnitt durch den
Absatzbereich des in Figur 1 dargestellten Sicherheitsschuhs .
Der in Figur 1 gezeigte Sicherheitsschuh 1 ist nur schematisch dargestellt. Der Schuh besitzt einen Schaft 2 und eine unter diesem angeordnete Profilsohle 3, die ei- ne Vielzahl von einzelnen Profllabschnitten bzw. Profil- leisten 4 aufweist, wobei diese Profilleisten 4 auf der Unterseite der Profilleiste unterschiedlich ausgebildet sind. So sind an der Spitze des Schuhs breitere Leisten vorgesehen als im mittleren Bereich. Ferner weist auch der Absatzbereich breitere Leisten auf. Die Ausgestaltung der Profllleisten ist von Schuh zu Schuh unterschiedlich und hier nicht Gegenstand der Erfindung.
In das Profil der Profilsohle 3 sind an mehreren Stellen (in Figur 1 sind nur 3 Stellen beispielsweise gezeigt)
Abschnitte 5 eingearbeitet, die sich optisch vom restlichen Teil der Profilsohle 3 unterscheiden. Im vorliegenden Ausfuhrungsbeispiel besitzen diese Abschnitte 5 eine rote Farbe, wahrend die übrige Profilleiste dunkel ein- gefärbt ist. Die Abschnitte 5 sind so in die Profilsohle eingearbeitet, daß sie etwas in die jeweiligen Profil- leisten und nach unten vorstehen, wie dies in Figur 1 gezeigt ist. Nach entsprechender Abnutzung der Profilleisten wird daher die Unterseite der Abschnitte 5 freigelegt und ist erkennbar.
Bei diesen Abschnitten 5 handelt es sich um ein in den Sicherheitsschuh eingebautes Sicherheitsmerkmai, das anzeigt, wenn eine Mmdestproflltiefe erreicht ist, unter der, ahnlich wie bei einem Autoreifen, eine weitere Nut- zung des Schuhs nicht mehr angebracht bzw. kritisch ist.
Einzelheiten diese Sicherheitsmerkmais sind in der vergrößerten Darstellung von Figur 2 gezeigt, die ein Vertikalschnitt durch den Absatzbereich des in Figur 1 ge- zeigten Sicherheitsschuhs ist. Man erkennt, daß jede
Profilleiste 4 des Absatzbereiches einen eingearbeiteten Abschnitt 5 aufweist, der sich farblich vom übrigen Teil der Profilsohle abhebt. Der Abschnitt 5 ist vollständig von einer Profilleiste ummantelt und in bezug auf die Unterseite der Profilleiste 4 so angeordnet, daß seine Unterseite der maximal zulassigen Abnutzung der Profilleiste entspricht. Diese maximal zulassige Abnutzung ist in Figur 2 durch eine gestrichelte Linie 6 angedeutet. Wird die Profilleiste 4 durch Tragen des Schuhs bis zu dieser Linie 6 abgenutzt, wird die Unterseite des andersfarbigen Abschnittes 5 freigegeben, so daß der Trager des Schuhs erkennt, das der Schuh ausgewechselt werden muß .
Je nach Ausfuhrungsform kann jede Profilleiste 4 der Profilsohle 3 des Schuhs einen derartigen Abschnitt 5 aufweisen, oder es können nur einige Abschnitte 5 in Profilleisten vorgesehen sein, die einer besonders starken Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind. Das Material der Abschnitte 5 kann dem Material der Profilsohle 3 entspre- chen oder aus einem anderen Material bestehen. Wichtig ist, daß eine gute Einbindung der Abschnitte 5 in die Profilsohle 3 erfolgt.
Zur Herstellung des dargestellten Sicherheitsschuhs wird die mit dem Sicherheitsmerkmal versehene Profilsohle (Laufsohle) mit dem Schaft verschaumt, verklebt oder vernäht .

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Sicherheitsschuh mit einer Profilsohle, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Profilsohle (3) mindestens einen optisch vom restlichen Teil der Profilsohle (3) unterscheidbaren Abschnitt (5) aufweist, der bei ei- ner bestimmten Abnutzung des Profils (4) erkennbar wird.
2. Sicherheitsschuh nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abschnitt (5) in das Profil (4) der Sohle (3) eingearbeitet ist.
3. Sicherheitsschuh nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abschnitt (5) aus einem anderen Material als die restliche Profilsohle (3) be- steht.
4. Sicherheitsschuh nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Profilsohle (3) mehrere Abschnitte (5) aufweist.
5. Sicherheit≤schuh nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß em Abschnitt (5) vollständig von einer Profilleiste (4) ummantelt ist.
6. Profilsohle zur Verwendung für einen Sicherheitsschuh nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche.
