- the invention relates to a food processor with a mixing vessel and an electric drive for an agitator in the mixing vessel, the mixing vessel being held under locking in the food processor, further locking elements interacting with an upper edge of the mixing vessel or with a lid seated thereon.
- Kitchen machines of the type in question are known. These generally have a stirring vessel which can be removed from the food processor and in which an agitator is arranged. The latter is driven by an electric motor on the kitchen machine side, for which purpose a coupling is provided at the interface between the mixing vessel and the receptacle on the kitchen machine side. To regulate the electric motor driving the agitator, a speed controller is generally provided, which is optionally arranged together with further actuators and display elements in a display area separate from the mixing vessel receiving area. Furthermore, kitchen machines are known in which the mixing vessel can be heated. For example, the bottom of the vessel forms an electrically controllable heating element.
