Abstract

Un détecteur numérique de rayons X bidimensionnel à panneau plat (34) se déplace de façon fiable, en toute sécurité et de façon commode pour atteindre diverses positions correspondant à différents protocoles de rayons X pour un patient debout, assis ou couché. Ce système fait qu'il est pratique d'utiliser le même détecteur pour plusieurs protocoles qui nécessiteraient autrement un équipement différent. Le système tire avantage de caractéristiques remarquables des détecteurs numériques à panneau plat tout en éliminant les effets de caractéristiques moins attirantes telles que le coût élevé, le poids et la fragilité de tels détecteurs.
