Description
The present invention relates to the building sector, in particular construction elements and in particular roof insulation panels, and relates to such a self-supporting insulation panel for roofs.
Currently, insulating roofing panels are generally in the form of sandwich panels essentially constituted by an internal insulating layer, most often made of expanded synthetic material, this layer being surrounded by rigid external plates. Such panels can be fixed directly to roof rafters by screwing or nailing and are provided on their external face with a double lath allowing the laying of tiles with the creation of an air circulation space under the latter.
These panels have a correct transverse and longitudinal rigidity for their handling, but are not self-supporting, because they cannot be placed directly on the supporting beams of a frame without interposition of rafters guaranteeing the longitudinal rigidity under the load of the cover.
In addition, because they have a perfectly flat external surface, double battening is compulsory to allow air circulation under the cover, in order to ensure a good condition, which results in the cost of a roof thus produced is relatively high, both because of the materials used, and the labor required.
Also known from FR-A-2 715 955 is a panel of this type constituted by a body of rigid insulating material which is connected, by means of inserts, respectively, to a support element and to a coating element. Such a panel is not load-bearing in itself, but only because it is mounted on a flat load-bearing element. In addition, it does not provide any means of mounting tiles or other covering elements, with the simultaneous possibility of air circulation under the covering.
The object of the present invention is to overcome these drawbacks by proposing a self-supporting insulating panel for a roof making it possible to produce a roof covering at a reduced cost compared to the means currently existing, while ensuring better load absorption capacity.
To this end, the insulating panel for roofing, which is essentially constituted by a rigid block of insulating material, is characterized in that " it is self-supporting and in that it comprises at least one profile for taking up forces, inserted into the insulating material inserted into the insulating material by overmolding by means of the material constituting said block, in the longitudinal direction of the panel.
The invention will be better understood from the description below, which relates to a preferred embodiment, given by way of nonlimiting example, and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a panel according to the invention; Figure 2 is a perspective view of the panel; FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view, on a larger scale, of an insertion slot for a tile-receiving batten or the like; Figure 4 is a partial perspective view showing the attachment of one end of the panel on a purlin; Figure 5 is a partial perspective view showing the abutment of two panels; FIG. 6 is a partial view in longitudinal section of a panel in the service position, and FIG. 7 is a partial perspective view, on a larger scale, of a tile for receiving tiles or the like.
Figure 1 of the accompanying drawings shows an insulating panel for roofing, which is essentially constituted by a rigid block 1 of insulating material. As shown in Figures 4 to 6, panels of this type are intended to be mounted on roof purlins 2 or similar supports.
According to the invention, the rigid block 1 is self-supporting and comprises at least one profile 3 for taking up the forces, inserted into the insulating material inserted into the insulating material by overmolding by means of the material of said block, in the longitudinal direction of the panel. . Such overmolding is carried out by placing the section or sections 3 in a mold, then injecting the insulating material, preferably in the form of an expanding synthetic foam. Preferably, each rigid block 1 constituting a panel is provided with two sections 3 extending parallel to each other and arranged symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the panel.
Ainsi, après surmoulage des profilésThe profiles 3 are advantageously made of a material with high mechanical resistance, in particular to bending, namely, in particular sheet steel or a reinforced synthetic composite. Thus, after overmolding of the profiles
transversale étant assurée grâce à la faible largeur des panneaux comparativement à leur longueur.3, the panel obtained has good longitudinal rigidity, there rigidity transverse being ensured thanks to the small width of the panels compared to their length.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the profiles 3 preferably have a cross section in Z (Figures 1, 2 4 and 5). Such a section makes it possible, on the one hand, to guarantee a large contact surface between the profiles 3 and the material constituting the rigid block 1 and, on the other hand, to use the parallel wings of the Z forming the profile to cooperate with fixing means on the purlins 2 or fixing of other elements on said sections 3 and therefore on the panel. To this end, the rigid block 1 can advantageously be provided, as required, at the level of each lower wing of the profiles 3, with through holes 4 extending from the upper face of the block 1 to said wing (FIGS. 2 and 4). These holes 4 are made on site at a center distance corresponding to the center distance between two purlins. The fixing of panels according to the invention on purlins can therefore be carried out easily by the use of self-drilling screws 5 and self-tapping simply inserted into the holes 4 and actuated by means of a screwdriver or the like.
On its upper face, opposite that of attachment to the purlins 2, the rigid block 1 is provided with bosses 6 staggered and determining between them longitudinal and transverse passages, with the formation of baffles between the transverse passages, these bosses 6 being each provided with a plurality of slots 7 or other openings arranged in staggered rows and intended for the reception of means for mounting tiles or other covering elements (FIGS. 2 to 6). The double staggered arrangement of the bosses 6 and the slots 7 or other openings makes it possible to obtain a spacing between the slots 7 or other very small module openings and, thus, possible adaptation to all the possible dimensions of coverage and spacing between the cover supports. In addition, the staggered arrangement of the bosses 6 has the effect of determining air circulation channels under the cover, so that the ventilation of the internal face of the latter is perfectly ensured.
De telle rainures 14 permettent une mise en oeuvre des panneaux suivant l'axe des pannes 2 et un montage de moyens de support de couverture dans lesdites rainures parallèles 14.Preferably, as shown in FIG. 3 of the accompanying drawings, the slots 7 or other openings are each provided with an insertion flare 7 ′ intended to cooperate with a corresponding fixing part of corresponding section of tile mounting means or other cover elements. Thanks to these flares 7 ', it is possible to easily guide, during the installation of mounting means, the fixing parts of the latter towards the bottom of the slots 7 or other openings. Furthermore, as is also apparent from Figures 1, 2 and 4 of the accompanying drawings, the bosses 6 may each be provided with a groove 14 extending in the longitudinal direction of the rigid block 1. Such grooves 14 allow a setting work of the panels along the axis of the purlins 2 and an assembly of cover support means in said parallel grooves 14.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the longitudinal edges of the rigid block 1 advantageously have complementary profiles, one of the edges being provided with a groove open upwards 8 intended to form a moisture evacuation channel d 'infiltration, the other edge being provided with a groove 9 facing downwards intended to form a vapor barrier. Thus, during the juxtaposition of the panels according to the invention, their longitudinal edges interpenetrate and cooperate by shape, producing longitudinal joints that are perfectly sealed at the crossing of runoff or condensation water. Indeed, the groove open upwards 8 provided on one of the edges allows the recovery of possible infiltrations and their channeling towards the end of the slope, in a gutter or the like, while the groove 9 turned towards the bottom of the other edge forms a vapor trap tending to condense the latter, so that the condensate can flow on the corresponding face of the other edge, from where it will be directed towards the groove 8 of said edge. The sealing of the abutment of the panels is obtained by injection between the end edges of the panels of a sealant or an expandable foam 10, as shown more particularly in Figure 5 of the accompanying drawings. It results from such an embodiment that the continuity of the seal between butted panels is perfectly ensured. According to another characteristic of the invention, the panel cooperates with means 11 for mounting tiles 12 or other covering elements, these means 11 being advantageously each in the form of a strip extending transversely to the axis. longitudinal of the panel and provided, at regular intervals corresponding to those between the slots 7 or other openings of the bosses 6, at least one row of lugs 12 intended to cooperate with said slots 7 or other openings (Figures 6 and 7).
As shown more particularly in Figure 7 of the accompanying drawings, the strip forming a means 11 is preferably provided with two rows of legs 13 spaced apart according to a module corresponding to the spacing between at least two slots 7 or other openings of a boss 6 Such a provision of two rows of legs 13 allows better fixing of the means II on the panel and ensuring its maintenance without additional fixing device. According to a characteristic of the invention, the row or rows of tabs 13 are arranged along one or more axes which are offset relative to the median plane of the strip forming the means 11. This characteristic appears more particularly in FIG. 7 of the drawings. Thus, the mutual spacing of the means 11 on a panel as a function of the space between supports of the covering elements used can be modulated by an additional notch and allow very fine adaptation to needs.
Thanks to the invention, it is possible to produce a self-supporting insulating panel for roofing allowing the implementation of all types of roofing and whose longitudinal rigidity is sufficient to ensure the necessary resistance to loads.
In addition, as shown more particularly in Figure 6 of the accompanying drawings, the profiles 3 of force recovery, which are inserted in the rigid block 1 of insulating material, allow the fixing of interior decoration or finishing elements, directly by application of these elements on said profiles or with interposition of the support 2 purlins, by screwing on said profiles.
The panel according to the invention has the advantage of being very light in relation to its dimensions, so that it can easily be handled by an operator alone and its easy and rapid implementation allows important productivity gains resulting in a corresponding reduction in construction costs.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown in the accompanying drawings.
