  • Another objective is to design the coin deposit lock so that a common version for all coin pieces in practical use is possible, so that a certain range of coin types is permitted, so that the same type coin deposit lock is available almost worldwide without modifications to the respective national coin system can be used.

  • Lower part 1A and upper part 1B can be placed on one another with precise contours by means of centering pins Z1, Z2 or corresponding bores B1, B2, as is shown in FIG. dashed lines should be indicated.

  • the control bolt 2 is an essentially H-shaped molded part, the legs 21 ... 24 of which lie in the direction of displacement have at least partially incisions 210 ... 240 pointing inwards, which the functional parts 3 ... 6 between their end positions to lead.
  • this has on its underside pins Z9, Z11 which engage in guide grooves 9, 11 of the lower part 1A.
  • the shape of the groove 9 and the groove 11 is predetermined so that the control bolt 2 executes a rotary-sliding movement, indicated by the double arrow in FIG.
  • This movement of the control bar is defined so that alternately when the key 16 is inserted, the control bar moves into its one end position (where the coin 15 is released) or vice versa, when a coin 15 is inserted the control bar is moved into its other end position, where the key 16 is released.
  • these functional parts 3 ... 6 are designed as balls (for example steel balls) or at least ball-like structures (ellipsoids, rollers or the like) which have only a minimal resistance when the control bar 2 moves along a certain path, but act as a full blocking or blocking element when hitting an end wall or a similar limitation.
  • balls for example steel balls
  • ball-like structures ellipsoids, rollers or the like
  • the recesses 7, 8, 12 are designed in their end sections in such a way that their bottom B (compare in particular also FIG. 4) towards the inside is inclined.
  • This section of the recesses therefore represents an inclined plane for the ball located therein, with the effect that the ball assumes its lowest position under the action of gravity (balls 4 and 6 in FIGS. 3 and 4), provided that this allows the respective position of the associated incision 210 ... 240 of the control bolt 2.
  • the balls 3 ... 6 can thus be understood as “switches” which are brought into correlated switching positions by the pivoting of the control bolt 2.
  • FIG. 2 shows the coin lock in the coupled state of the shopping trolley, ie the key 16 is located in the key chamber S and is only released (and allows the shopping trolley to be removed) when the coin 15 is pressed into the coin box M. .
  • the balls 3 and 5 ultimately act here via the control bolt 2 as a "blocking switch" for the key 16. If this consideration is followed up, one can also see the only way according to the invention to remove this blockage by the balls 3 and 5, namely by inserting a coin 15, as shown in FIG. 3:
  • the front side flanks of the coin 15 "translate" the movement of the coin 15 in the longitudinal axis of the coin deposit lock into a movement directed perpendicular thereto, the balls rolling or sliding upwards on the bottom B and thus reaching the narrower area of their respective recess, where they are then held by the sides of the coin 15.
  • All components of the coin deposit lock can be formed from uniform materials, for example metal or plastic, or from different materials; it is crucial that the parts production and in particular the assembly is extremely simple, because all the function points and the control latch need only be inserted into the lower part 1A and this is then closed with the upper part 1B.
