Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cleaner bottle made of a flexible plastic material for cleaning spray guns for processing polyurethane foaming agents from pressure cans, which has a closure body with an outlet opening for the detergent to be dispensed.
  • Polyurethane foaming agents are often supplied in pressure sockets which are suitable for connection to spray guns equipped with a connecting part.
  • the pressure can connected to the spray gun by means of a screw or bayonet connection can then be emptied when the gun trigger is actuated via the gun mouth and the foam can be fed to the location provided for this purpose.
  • a valve mechanism arranged inside the spray gun takes over the role of the can valve and permits precise quantitative and temporal metering of the foaming agent.
  • Such spray guns are known for example from DE-U 87 04 657 and DE-A 38 15 327.0.
  • the usual polyurethane foaming agents have the property of hardening more or less quickly after they emerge from the pressure can under the influence of atmospheric humidity or else a separately added second component with crosslinking.
  • the hardened plastic means that the spray gun can only be cleaned, if at all, with considerable effort.
  • the complicated trigger and valve mechanism is susceptible to residues due to residues. For this reason it is absolutely necessary to clean the spray gun with a solvent that is suitable for the foaming agent after the end of the spraying process.
  • Such cleaning agents are known and are usually supplied in pressure cans which, according to the pressure cans in which the foaming agent is supplied, can be screwed onto the spray gun and actuated via the trigger mechanism.
  • Detergent bottles of this type have the disadvantage that they are very complex to produce, must meet the requirements placed on pressure cans, must be connected absolutely tight when in use, which is not always possible with a dirty connection mechanism, and, based on the contained therein Amount of detergent, quite a lot of waste to be removed.
  • the aim of the invention is therefore to create a cleaner bottle which avoids the disadvantages mentioned above, in particular is easy to fill, to transport, to connect to a spray gun with a conventional connection mechanism and is reusable.

  • the bottle is no longer designed as a pressure bottle, but is actuated by simply pressing it by hand after it has been placed on the connecting part of a spray gun.
