Definitions

  • a convection cooking appliance according to the preamble of protection claim 1 is already known, in which the heat-generating parts are arranged in the hood, i.e. above and opposite the pan.
  • this has the disadvantage that the hood heats up very much and there is a risk of burns from the outside.
  • Another disadvantage is that there is an unattractive sight because the hood is relatively high and is generally opaque in the area where the heat-generating parts are accommodated.
  • Another disadvantage is that when the hood is removed it has to be parked somewhere, and after this hood heats up extremely during operation, there is a risk of burns and damage at the points where the hood is lowered.
  • the innovation is therefore based on the object of further developing a convection oven of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that a risk of burns on the hood of an appliance in operation is avoided, that the appliance is smaller overall and can be used more reliably.
  • the innovation is characterized by the technical teaching of claim 1.
  • An essential feature of the innovation is that the drive parts and the heating parts are now arranged in the lower part of the device below the pan and that the hood itself is free of internals.
  • the hood can now be designed as a transparent part, so that the entire cooking and grilling process can be observed continuously.
  • the hood will heat up only slightly during operation, because only a heated air stream is pumped through the hood, which is generated by the hot air-producing parts arranged below the pan. So you can touch the hood from the outside during operation of the device because the hood is no longer heated and you can also remove the hood and place it on surfaces without the risk of damaging such surfaces.
  • the air-generating parts are arranged on the lower part of the device and the heating air is circulated in a direct circuit without turbulence in the hood, so that a blow-out opening is provided on one side wall of the hood in a housing surface is while the suction port is arranged in the vicinity of the opposite side wall of the hood in the opposite housing surface. In this way there is a laminar air flow in the hood without generating turbulence.
  • Another important advantage of the invention is that the heat-generating parts are now arranged directly below the pan and are even in conductive contact with the pan, so that a favorable heat transfer to the pan takes place.
