Definitions
- the invention relates to a letter with an envelope and at least one letter sheet.
- Envelopes for large-volume content are already known in practice. For example, cardboard envelopes with a certain edge thickness are used, so that physical objects, for example music cassettes or the like, can be transported in the envelope.
- the envelopes known so far are not very decorative and are used only for the simple transmission of information.
- the invention is based on the object of designing and developing a letter in such a way that information can be transmitted implicitly due to its appearance and special content through its use. Furthermore, the letter according to the invention should appear informative, decorative or even funny.
- the letter according to the invention solves the above object by the features of claim 1. Thereafter, the aforementioned letter is designed so that the envelope has approximately the shape of an object or commodity, is made of unbreakable material and the total The dimensions of a letter that can be transported by post do not exceed and that the letter sheet is folded or rolled up in the object or commodity.
- envelopes can easily deviate from the traditional, conventional form, namely, they can have the shape of any object or commodity.
- the material of the "envelope" is made of an unbreakable material.
- the envelope executed in the form of an object must have no sharp edges or the like, so that there is no risk of injury. Consequently, the letter according to the invention can in principle be used in the information area, but in particular in the tourist area, the letter having different motifs or contents depending on the holiday country or holiday location.
- the envelope could be opened in the manner of a booklet or book, the letter sheet being folded up according to a predetermined folding rule and being at least partially connected on both sides to the envelope, preferably to the inner wall thereof.
- the letterhead would then be unfoldable by opening or unfolding the envelope.
- the letter sheet, in its at least partially unfolded state - possibly together with the envelope - could have the shape of an object or article of daily use.
- the letterhead could be designed as a folding plan, preferably as a city map or map.
- the envelope could also be designed as a pencil case or the like. The letterhead would then have multiple layers in the Arranged or folded in the sense of a fan in the pencil case and would be fanned out together with the walls of the pencil case to form an object or an information carrier.
- the envelope of a letter to be marketed in Heidelberg could be designed in the form of the Heidelberg Castle or in the form of the Old Bridge.
- the envelope has approximately the shape of a bottle.
- the letter according to the invention thus suggests the use as a quasi bottle message.
- the letter according to the invention is particularly suitable for use in seaside holiday resorts or in holiday resorts close to the beach.
- the bottle is made from cardboard.
- This carton can have a wide variety of colors.
- the bottle could be made from an unbreakable, largely elastic and preferably transparent plastic.
- the overall visual impression of the invention according to the letter very close to that of a real bottle, especially since the transparent plastic acts like a conventional bottle glass.
- the bottle is provided with a label on the front and on the back.
- the label on the front then serves as an information carrier for information of any kind and the label on the back serves as an address field and for sticking on one or more stamps. Consequently, the front and back of the bottle perform the same tasks as the front and back of a conventional tourist postcard, the function of a letter being given by the bottle-like "envelope".
- the label on the front which serves as information carrier, is - as already mentioned above - in the form of a postcard and bears any image and, if appropriate, written information. This can be, for example, the representation of a sight - possibly supplemented with holiday greetings.
- the neck of the bottle is also provided with a label and if this neck label also has image and / or writing information.
- pictures of sights - possibly supplemented by holiday greetings - could be accommodated in small format.
- the bottle can be provided with a screw cap and that the screw cap may have a locking device to prevent the bottle from being opened unintentionally.
- the screw cap could also be designed so that once it has been closed it can only be opened by destroying a safety edge or the like, so that the recipient of this "message in a bottle" can be sure that the bottle has not already been opened by unauthorized persons .
- the letterhead in the bottle could be a simple blank letterhead.
- the letterhead could also be partially printed and have image and / or writing information.
- the letterhead - like the labels described above - could also serve as an advertising medium.
- the letterhead itself is again in the form of a collapsible or rollable object, so that here, too, an information content is conveyed by the letterhead or by the letterhead.
- Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of a letter according to the invention, wherein the "envelope” is in the form of a bottle, and
- Fig. 2 shows a schematic representation of the object of Fig. 1 from the back.
- the letter according to the invention is designed such that the "envelope” 1 has approximately the shape of an object or a commodity.
- the "envelope” 1 is made of unbreakable material and has the overall dimensions of a letter that can be transported by post.
- a letter sheet 2 Inside the envelope 1 designed as an object is a letter sheet 2 in a rolled-up state.
- the object represented by the "envelope” 1 is a bottle.
- This bottle is flat in the sense of a “flask” and has an approximately flat front side 3 and a rear side 4 parallel to it.
- the bottle could be made from cardboard.
- the material used is an unbreakable, largely elastic and transparent plastic, so that the rolled-up letterhead 2 located therein is visible.
- the figures also show that the bottle is provided on the front side 3 and on the rear side 4 with a label 5 and 6, respectively.
- the label 5 on the front 3 is designed as an information carrier for information of any kind.
- the label 6 on the back 4 serves as an address field and for sticking on one or more stamps 7.
- the label 5 on the front side 3 serving as information carrier is designed in the exemplary embodiment chosen here in the sense of a postcard and bears image and written information 8.
- bottle neck 9 is also provided with a label 10.
- This neck label 10 also carries image and writing information 11.
- the bottle is provided with a screw cap 12.
- This screw closure 12 can have a detent to prevent unwanted opening.
- the screw cap 12 can also be provided with corresponding image and text information.
- all parts of the bottle preferably the labels 5, 6, 10 and also the screw cap 12, can serve as an advertising medium and are accordingly equipped with advertising areas.
- Letterhead 2 located inside the bottle can also be at least partially printed and contain image and / or writing information.
- the letterhead 2 - like the labels 5, 6 and 10 and the screw cap 12 - could serve as an advertising medium.
