Abstract
Procedimiento simplificado para extracción de heparina desde tejido de mucosa animal. El método consta de una etapa de hidrólisis enzimática de la materia prima a temperatura ambiente, seguida por hidrólisis durante 6 horas a temperatura de 50-75 °C. El aumento de temperatura se obtiene fácilmente. La mezcla de digestión puede seguir siendo incubada mientras se enfría hasta la temperatura ambiente. La heparina se recupera desde una resina de intercambio aniónico presente en el hidrolizado de proteína. La heparina es un heteropolisacárido utilizado como agente anticoagulante y antitrombótico en el tratamiento y prevención de trombosis venosas.
