Abstract
Partículas finamente divididas de un compuesto químico sólido que tiene propiedades de ratardo de llama de supresión de humo, teniendo dichas partículas un tamaño de partícula volumétrico promedio de menos de 0,5micrones, y siendo dichas partículas producidas por trituración. Las partículas según lo descrito donde el compuesto químico sólido está seleccionado del grupo que consiste en sales hidratadas, fosfatos orgánicos, boratos metálicos, poliamidas, retardadotes de llama halogenados sólidos con un punto de fusión superior a 250ºC, compuestos de molibdeno, metalícenos, compuestos de antimonio, compuestos de zinc y compuestos de bismuto. La presente invención se refiere también a varios procedimientos de molienda para reducir estos materiales a tamaños colidales y para dispersarlos en agua, líquidos orgánicos y sólidos fusionables.
