Be it known that I, PETER KINTZ, of West Meriden, in the county oi' New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Lamp-Holder; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specilication, and represent, in
Figure 1, a view from the under side, and in Fig. 2 a side view. showing the outline.
This invention relates to a design for the basket or holder, which is attached to a. fixture, to receive and support a lamp-fount; and it consists in the peculiar configuration and ornamentation of the holder, as shown in the accompanying illustration.
The outline of the holder is seen in Fig. 2 in vertical section. The lower portion is of the cyma-reversa or ogee form, the upper portion of a cyma-recta or reverse ogee, with a concave baud between. The lower portion forms a center, a, within the concave baud b, and oruamented with a star-shaped tigure, as seen in Fig. l, the upper portion c having the appearance ofa succession of shields, d, resting on the band b, as shown in the drawings, the said upper and lower portions being substantially ogee form in vertical section.
I claim- The design for lampholder, consisting of the two sections aI c, with a band between, the lower section a representing a star-shaped ornament as a center, the upper section c a crown, as shown in the accompanying illustration and herein described.
