DESlGN FOR ORNAMENTAL VASE.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, J. W. FISKE, of New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented certain Improvements in Design for an Ornamental Vase, of which the following is a specification:
lhis is a design for a vase; and the nature of the design is fully shown in the accompanying photographic illustration.
The bowl of the vase F is oi larger diameter below than above, and this enlarged portion is formed with a series of uniform convex projections or ribs on its exterior, radiating from a central point below, and terminating, by an inward curve of their wider ends above, about midway of the height of the bowl. Upon these, in relief, is formed an ornamental figure composed of large leaves, also radiating from the center, with their points turned outward and upward. Above this the bowl is reduced in diameter by being curved suddenly inward, and thence inclines inward and upward for a short distance, from whence it curves outward, and terminates with an overhanging serrated border, f, as shown in. the photograph. On opposite sides of the bowl are attached handles G, elaborately ornamented, with a row of beads along their sides, accompanied with scrolls, figures, and leaves. This bowl is supported on a fluted column, ornamented at top, center, and bottom with annular moldings, and tenninating below in a rectangular base, 1).
What I claim as my invention is The design for a Vase, substantially as shown and described.
