DESIGN FOR A WAIST-BELT.
$PEGIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 35,707, dated February 11, 1902.
Application filed January 13, 1902. Serial No. 89,634- Term of patent 3% years.

Be it known that I, HENRY J. GAISMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York city borough of Manhattan, State of New York, haveinvented and produced anew and original Design for \Vaist-Belts, of which the followingisaspecification,referencebeing had to the accompanying drawing, which is a perspective view'of a waist-belt embodying my invention.
The leading feature of my design consists in the shape or configuration of the front portion of a waist-belt, wherein looped straps appear on the outer face of the belt at a distance apart, and in the space between said looped straps is located a member having an eye receiving the adjacent looped strap and cross-bars projecting from opposite sides of said member adjacent to said eyes.
The numeral 1 indicates looped straps located on the outer face of the belt-body 2, and 3 are buckles, also on the outer face of the belt,receiving said straps. Said looped straps are at a distance apart, forming an intermediate space at the f rontof the belt, and in said space is located a member 4, provided with eyes 5, through which the straps l extend, and having cross-bars 6 projecting transversely to the plane of the belt 4, the parts 4 5 6 representing a horse-bit. In minor details the member 4 consists of two parts, one of which has an eye 4 and the other has a hook 4".
I claim- The design for a waist-belt substantially as herein shown and described.
