Description
DESIGN.
No. 34,3l7.
Patented Apr. 2. I90l. A. HEUNISGH. I
BOTTLE.
(Application filed. Feb. 7, 1901.)
UNITED STATES PATENT ()FFICE.
ADAM HEUNISCH, OF SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA.
DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
To all whmn it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ADAM HEUNIsoH, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of San Francisco, State of California, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a front view of the bottle. Fig. 2 is a section on line 0000 of Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a similar View on line y y of Fig. 1.
The leading feature of my design consists of a bottle the upper portion of the body of which has a sunken panel upon one side and is convexed upon the other side, said bottle having its vertical edges concaved and extending from top to bottom. The lower part of the body of the bottle, below the panel and in equivalent position on the opposite side, consists of a series of raised vertical flutings.
A is the body of a flat bottle having a greater diameter in one direction than the other, and upon one of the flat sides is formed a depressed essentially rectangular panel 2,
extending from near the top of the body to approximately two-thirds of the distance toward the bottom. Below the lower end of this panel are formed raised rectangular flutings 3. The opposite side of the bottle is made smooth and slightly convex in crosssection from the top to a point near the bottom, as shown at 4, and the lower part of this side has the vertical fiut-ings 5, similar to those shown at-3 upon the opposite side. The edges or narrow vertical sides of the bottle are formed in channels having a concaved curvature in cross-section in circular arcs, these channels extending from top to bottom of the bottle.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a bottle as herein shown and described.
ADAM HEUNISCH.
