UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
EDWARD A. DE BLOIS, OF HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT.
DESIGN FOR A GARMENT-SUPPORT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design NO. 34,224, dated March 12, 1901.
Application filed February 16, 1901- Serial No. 4='7,7 O7. Tenn of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Beit known that I, EDWARD A. DE BLoIs, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hartford, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Garment-Support, of which the following is a specification.
Figure l of the accompanying drawings, which form a part of the specification, is a side elevation of a garment-hanger embodying my design; and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design is the fiat horizontally-extending doubled portion of the garment-support that depends from and lies beneath the outwardly and downwardly curved loops. The loops 3, that extend outwardly from the middle of the support, curve downwardly and are largest in diameter near their outer ends. The doubled portion 4 extends back and forth several times in a flat horizontal plane below the middle of the garmentsupport. The connection 5 extends vertically from the middle of the loops to one-half the distance between the ends of the fiat horizontally-doubled portion of the garment-support. The portion 6 curves backwardly and upwardly and then downwardlyabove the middie of the loops.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a garment-support as herein shown and described.
EDWARD A. DE BLOIS.
