To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, SAMUEL KING, a citizen of the United States, residing at Harrisburg, in the county of Dauphin and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and original Design for a Shelf for Holding Scale- Weights; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention.
My invention relates to a new design for a shelf for scale-weights.
The design consists of a shelf of the configuration and ornamentation shown in the accompanying drawing, in which I have represented the shelf in perspective.
The leading features of my design are the base 1, having parallel straight sides 2, rounded ends 3, and diamondshaped apertures 4, the Walls of which are corrugated or fluted. Extending vertically from one end of the base is a vertical arm 5, the ends of which are flared laterally on a curve. A semicircular shelf 6 is located at the upper end of the arm and has at its outer edge and at its ends a marginal rib 7. This shelf has leaf-shaped ornamental apertures 8.
Ashelf thus constructed is veryornamental and pleasing to the eye and will be found very convenient for the purpose for which it is designed.
VVhat I claim is The design for a shelf for scale weightsgas herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
