UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
EMERSON D. VERITY, OF PORTLAND, MICHIGAN, ASSIGNOR OF ONE-HALF TO NEIVEL GRIFFIN AND ELIZABETH CAMPBELL, OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR AN UMBRELLA-HOLDER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,037, dated February 12, 1895.
Application filed November 26, 1894. Serial No. 530,051. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EMERSON D. VERITY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Portland, in the county of Ionia and State of Michigan, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Umbrella-Holders, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.
The drawing shows a perspective view of my new design for umbrella holders.
A is a rectangular base, supported on legs B at the corners.
C is a serpentine standard rising from the rear side of the base at the middle thereof.
D D are two oppositely arranged semi-circular or crescent shaped arms arranged at different heights near the top of the standard.
The top of the standard has the inclined face E, from which rise the spindles F capped 20 by the cylindrical cross bar G having knobs or halls formed at the ends.
The leading featuresof the design are those above described and shown in the drawing.
What I claim as my invention is The design for an umbrella holder herein described and shown.
