DESIGN FOR A VAULT-LIGHT.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,044, dated July 12, 1898.

Application filed July 3, 1897. Serial No. 643,461. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known thatI, JAMEs MAGNUSEN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ghicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Vault-Lights of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a side elevation of a vault-light, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation of the same.

The vault-light consists of a body portion or base B, provided with a flat and attenuated downwardly-projecting extension or drop A. The drop A depends from one side of the base B and is inclined at an oblique angle to the same, so as to extend under it. The lower surface of the drop A is ridged, corrugated, or provided with prisms.

The essential feature of my design is the fiat and attenuated drop A, extending obliquely under the base B from one of its sides and having its lower or under side provided with prisms.
