DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,668, dated February 4, 1902.

Application filed December 19, 1901. Serial No. 86,6201 Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern..-

Be it known that I, RUDOLPH J. TAUSSIG, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of San Francisco,State of California, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a view of my bottle looking toward the flat side. Fig. 2 is a View of the 0pposite side. Fig. 3 is a view of the bottom of the bottle.

As shown in the drawings, the leading feature of my design consists in a bottle having a slightly greater diameter in one direction than in the other, one of the sides of the longer diameter being flat and having its lower portion fluted or corrugated, as at 5, and the opposite side of the said longer diameter being convex and devoid of corrugations or fiutings and having its marginal edges connecting with the fiat sides of the shorter diameter of the bottle, which said latter sides are joined to the flat side of longer diameter of the bottle by means of narrow inclined sections 4.

The upper end of the bottle is plain, and upon the convexed side 3 of said bottle is a circular panel 6, and in the bottom of the bottle is a sunken panel 8, having walls conforming in outline to the general outline of the bottle in oross-section.
