To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GUSTAVE D. Figure 1 is a side ,view of the bottle, showing the raised panel. Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the bottle, taken on the line m a; of Fig. 1. v
The design consists in the shape'or configuration of the bottle, the main body of which is in octagonal form, curving upward and inward from a point about centrally of its heightto the mouth portion, with the mouth portion made in cylindrical form, with a bead formed at the point of junction between the curved sides of the octagonal portion and the cylindrical mouth, and having a raised panel in oblong rectangular form and extending diagonally across the face of the main body.
Referring to the accompanying illustration by letter, A indicates the bottle, which, from its outline in elevation, is of tapering form, and composed of a number of sides, which give it an octagonal cross-section, the sides a extending from the bottomin an upward and perpendicular direction to about one-half its height, from which point the sides and angles curve upward and inward to the mouth portion I). The mouth portion b is cylindrical and provided with a small head at its lower extremity, and as the sides approach this month portion b they taper to conform to the decrease in circumference of the bottle and The design for bottles, substantially as herein described and shown.
In testimony whereof I aifix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
