DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE OR FLASK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,116, dated January 10, 1893.
Application filed December 12, 1892. Serial No. 454,974. Term of patent 14 years To LEZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, PETER FAHRNEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles or Flasks, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact specification, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the said drawings, Figure l, is a side elevation or face view of a bottle embodying my design, and Fig. 2,is an edge viewofthe same, both of which views are deemed necessary to fully illustrate my design.
The leading features of my design consists of the tapering or rounded ends of the bottle having a number of ribs or fiutes formed therein.
The body of the bottle is approximately flat with rounded edges A, and it is provided in one of its broad sides with a panel B. The
tintes or ribs C at the upper end of the bottle taper toward their upper ends and terminate in rounded points c, a short distance from the upper end of the neck of the bottle, the lower ends of such lintes or ribs being formed on down curves c' a short distance above the upper end of the panel B. The flutes or ribs D at the lower end of the bottle are provided with upwardly curved ends d, and taper toward acircularbutton or foot piece E at the bottom of the bottle.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new therein, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is:
