DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,472, dated May 12, 1896.
Application filed December 10 1895. Serial No. 571,712. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern..-
lle it known that I, CHARLES N. BRADY, of Washington, in the county of \Vashington and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a certain new and useful Design for Bottles and Similar Articles, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates toaeertain new, useful, and original design for bottles and similar articles.
The leading or characteristic features of my design consist of a bottle having a neck of cylindrical shape, a shoulder at the top of said neck having, clean sharp angles or corners and with fiat top and bottom faces, and an annular recess formed in said neck immediately beneath said shoulder.
Mydesign is represented in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a side view of the bottle, and Fig. 2 a sectional View.
In both of the above views corresponding parts are represented by the same letters of reference.
A is the bottle, and 13 the shoulder. The latter is provided with flat top and bottom faces a and b, the latter being considerably wider than the former and with sharp clean angles 0 and ri. Beneath the shoulder is an annular recess (1, which merges into the outside of the neck A by a curved surface 0. The inside of the neck at its upper end is hollowed out at fand then curved at 5 so as to merge into the inside of the neck.
Having described my invention, what I claim is The design for a bottle or similar article herein shown and described.
