DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,634, dated May 17, 1898.

Application filed April 9, 1898. Serial No- 67'7,098- Term of patent 14 years.

To all whont it may concern.-

Be it known that I, FRANK SCHILLING, a citizen of the United States, residing at M u ncie, county of Delaware, and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is an elevation of one side of the bottle. Fig. 2 is an elevation of the opposite side of the bottle. Fig. 3 is a section on the line 3 3, Figs. 1 and 2; and Fig. 4 is abottom plan View.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material features of my design consist of a series of parallel ribs A and parallel grooves B between the ribs. The ribs and grooves extend from near the bottom of the bottle to near the top. As plainly shown in Fig. 4, it will be seen that the ribs A are convex and the grooves B concave and that the ribs do not project beyond the circumference of the smooth lower portion of the bottle. The surface of the bottle is provided with a smooth portion C, as plainly shown in Fig. 2.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a bottle substantially as shown and described.
