DESIGN FOR A SKIRT-PROTECTOR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,569, dated September Application filed August 30, 1899. Serial No. 729,017. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE S. HENsEL, a citizen of the United States, residing in the cityand county of lhiladelphia,St-ate of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Skirt-Protector, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading feature of mydesign fora skirtprotector is a head, a brush pendent therefrom,a series of ribs 0n the face of said head above the brush, and parallel ribs on said face adjacent to the upper edge thereof.
Figure 1 represents a side elevation of a skirt-protector embodying my design. Fig. 2 represents a section thereof on line :1 m, Fig. 1.
In the drawings, A designates a piece of skirt-protector, the same consisting of the head B, the brush 0 pendent therefrom, the series of differential ribs D on the face of said head above said brush, and the parallel ribs E on said face below the upper edge thereof, said ribs D and E extending in the direction of the length of said head.
