DESIGN FOR A SKIRT-PROTECTOR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,300, dated February 28, 1899.
Application filed January 30,1899. Serial No. 703,946- Term of patent 14 years.

Be it, known that I, GEORGE S. HENSEL, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of Philadelphia,State of Pennsylvania,haveinvented and produced a new and useful Design for a Skirt-Protector, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
The leading feature of my design for a skirt-protector is a head and a brush pendent from the bottom edge thereof, said head having a longitudinal line of transverse ridges along its top edge, longitudinally-extending ridges just below said transverse ridges, a longitudinal line of transverse ridges below said longitudinal ridges, and a second line of iongitu(finally-extending ridges between the second line of transverse ridges and the top edge of the brush.
Figure 1 represents a face view of a piece of skirt protector embodying my design. Fig. 2 represents a section thereof.
In the drawings, A designates a piece of skirt-protector, the same consisting of the head B, the brush 0, pendent from the lower edge thereof, and the longitudinal lines of transverse ridges D and E and lines of longitudinal ridges F and G on the sides of said head. A
