DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE'.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 31,706, dated October 24, 1899.

Application filed September 14, 1899. Serial N0. 730,506 Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern;

Be it known that 1, JOHN SCHIES, a citizen of the United States, residing at Anderson, in the county of Madison and State of Indiana, have invented and produced a new and originalDesign for Bottles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part there of, and in which- Figure 1 is a. perspective view of a bottle, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a crosssectional view on about line 2 2 of Fig. 1.'

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature consists of the design forming the subject of the accompanying illustration.

As shown in the drawings, the bottle is formed with the substantially triangularshaped body A and the cylindrical neck B, having a rib B about midway between its ends and a rib or shoulder B at its juncture with the upper end of the body A.

The body A has the broad fiat sides or panels A and the narrower panels A breaking the angles between the adjacent panels A, as shown, the panels A widening at their upper ends and the panels A narrowing at such ends, merging the body A in the neck B, as shown.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The design for a bottle, as herein shown and described.
