DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE-GUARD.

To a whom it may; concern:

Be it known that I, EDWARD W. MORGEN THALER, a citizen of the United States, residing in Paola, county of Miami, and State of Kansas, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottle Guards, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying: drawings, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 represents a vertical sectional view of my new design for a bottle-guard. Fig. 2 represents a side elevation view of the same, and Fig. 3 represents a plan View.

The loading or material feature of my design consists in the configuration of the bottle-guard, as follows: The guard is made in the form of a ring provided on its inner periphery near the upper end with an inwardlyextending annular V-shaped flange A. The portion of the inner wall below the flange A is perpendicular, and the lower end of the ring terminates with an annular horizontal inwardly-extending flange 0. The outer wall of the ring is convex in form, as indicated by B, the curve beginning at the top of the ring and terminating near the lower end thereof.

My invention is applicable to various styles of guards for bottles, tumblers, and similar articles.

Having described my in vent-ion, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design of a bottleguard as herein shown and described.
