DESIGN FOR A CULTlVATOR-SHOVEL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,858, dated January 8, 1901. Application filed December 6, 1900. Serial No. 38,973. Term i' patent 14 years.

Be it known that We,IRA W.LEDBETTERand WILLIAM H.LEDBETTER,citizens of the United States, residing at Stone Mountain, in the county of McDowell and State of North Carolina, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Cnltivator- Shovels; and we do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as Will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to Inake and use the same.
The invention relates to a new and original design for cultivator-shovels; and it consists of a design of the shape and configuration shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Fign re lis a front view of the shovel; Fig. 2, a rear View; Fig. 3, a view taken from the pointed end; Fig. 4, a view taken from the opposite end. Fig. is a horizontal sectional view on the line x Fig. l. Fig. 6 is a similar View on line y y, Fig. l; and Fig. 7 is a longitudinal sectional View on line ,e z, Fig. l.
The leading feature of the design consists of an approximately triangular plate, the converging edges of which are beveled, said plate having in its back near its top a channel 2 and a hole 3 and having its upper corners ai and 5 curved slightly rearwardly and at its center portion a bulge or spoon-like formation 6.
What we claiin is- The design for a cultivater-shovel as herein shown and described.
