DESIGN FOR A SHOE FOR FLOWS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,126, dated January 23, 1900.
Application filed December 2, 1899. Serial No. 739,052. Term of patent 14 years.

Beitknown thatLGEORGE IV. REAM, acibizen of the United States, residing at Canton, in the county of Sterk and State of Ohio, have 5 invented and produced a ne7 and original Design for a Shoe forPlows, of which the follow ing is a specification.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is an elevation of a shoe embodying my inven- Fig. 2 isa view looking down upon the lop edge. Fig. 3 is a view of the side opposite to that shown in Fig. 1.
My invention is a. new design of a parb of a plow known as a shoe and is adapted to sup- The design resides in the shape and the surface configuration of the inside face, the outside face being plain and flat throughout. As shown, the shoe is made with parallel upper 2o and lower edges, es ai; a b. At the rear end ldiese edges are connected by a, curved end c.
At the front end the lower corner is square, as at, d, while the upper corner is rounded, as at e. On the inner face of the shoe, extending along about the rear half of the lower edge, is [lange f of increasing thickness from the pointy to the point h, the flange following partly the curved end of the shoe. As shown in Fig. 2, this flange also increases in width from g to z', from which latter point the outer edge of the flange is substantially parallel with the fece of the shoe. Both sides of the shoe are llat throughout'. forward of lhe point g of the flange.
