DESIGN FOR A LANDSIDE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,065, dated January 2, 1900.
Application filed December 2. 1899. Serial No. 739,053- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE W. BEAM, a citizen of the United States, residing at Canton, Stark county, State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Landside, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is an elevation of one side of the design embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a plan view looking down upon the upper edge. Fig. 3 is a View of the side opposite to that shown in Fig. 1.
Myinvention is a new design for the landside of a plow, and the leading feature is in its outline configuration, the surfaces of the plate constituting the landside being parallel and plain.
The landside has a straight lower edge a terminating at the front end in a right-angular vertical wall I). At the rear or opposite end the landside is curved as at c, the upper end of the curved line merging into an inclined edge d, which extends at an angle to the top line 2, this latter edge or line being parallel to the bottom line a of the landside. From the top edge e the corner of the landside is cut by a line f. connecting the lines e and b.
