DESIGN FOR A TANK.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 32,626, dated May 1, 1900.
Application filed April 2,1900. Serial No. 11,269- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, DAVID D. BUICK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Detroit, in the county of W'ayne and State of Michigan, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Tanks, of which the followingisaspecification,referencebeing had therein to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective View, and Fig. 2 is a plan.
A is a body substantially rectangular in plan and having an upper portion B and a forwardly-swelling lower portion 0. The up per portion B has a top D, connecting by a rounded portion E with a vertical portion F of the front Wali of the body. The lower portion G of said front wall is also vertical and connected to the portion F by an inclined portion II, rounded at the corners.
I is a raised border extending around the bottom and sides of the front and sides and rear of the top.
J is a bead extending across the front at the top of the portion F.
The end walls are provided with a central raised panel K, forming a narrowing border L, parallel with the edge.
M is a substantiallyrectangular vertical rear wall, which extends beyond the sides and top of the body to form a Hat border N and has a shaped or molding edge 0.
The corners of the plate M are rounded.
The leading feature of the design is the body having the swell front, with the border I extending around the bottom and sides of the front and sides and rear of the top, and the rear plate extending beyond the body at sides and top, forming the fiat border N and shaped edge 0.
What I claim as my invention is The design fora tan k, su bstantialiy as here in shown and described.
