JOSEPH B. LONG, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS.
DESIGN FOR A CADDY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,527, dated November 6, 1900.
Application filed August 20, 1900. Serial No. 27,511. Term of patent 3 years.
To all whom it Duty concern.-
Be it known that I, JOSEPH 1 LONG, acitizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Caddies, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which are made a part of said specification, and in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a caddy embodying the new design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation thereof with the legs omitted.
The leading essential feature of the new design is the body, comprising the upper portion A and the lower portion A, projecting forward some distance beyond the upper portion A, said upper and lower portions having front panels B and B, respectively, each of which is curved in vertical planes, the top of the lower projecting portion A being inclined downward and forward.
Minor features of the design are sunken panels O C (said panels being, in fact, lids) in the inclined portion aforesaid and narrow raised strips or ribs D and D, disposed at the upper margins of the panels B and B, respectively, and each having along its horizontal margin intnrned flanges (1.
Another minor feature of the design is the top, comprising the flat horizontal portion E and the curved sunken panels F, (which are, in fact, lids,)disposed between the portion E and the raised rib D.

The design for a caddy substantially as herein shown and described.
