DESIGN FOR A SCALE-FRAME M EMBER.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, JAMES M. TRINER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design or Useful Shape for a Scale-Frame Member, of which the following, in connection with the accompanying drawings, is a full, clear, and exact specification.

In the said drawings, Figure 1 is a side elevation of a scale-frame member embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a rear elevation thereof; and Fig. 3 is a plan section taken on the line 3 3, Fig. 1.

The leading features of my design consist of a scale-frame member comprised by the two side walls A B and the back wall C.

\Vhen viewed from the top or in plan, as in Fig. 1, and also from the bottom, the walls A I; 0 form a rectangular structure comprising two right angles adjacent to the wall 0. The rear wall C extends from the extreme lower edges of the side walls A B, but terminates a short distance from their upper edges, and at the termination the corners of the side walls A B are rounded off, as shown at a b. The forward or opposite corners of the side walls A B are straight or substantially rectangular for a short distance down their front edges, and they are then cut away, as shown at D, such cut-away portion having its edge running substantially parallel with the balance of the edge of the wall and terminating at considerable distance from the bottom.

The side wall A has a raised panel A, pressed outwardly therefrom with inwardlyrounding corners at its forward edge, an outwardly-rounding upper rear corner, and a rectangular lower rear corner, and the side wall 13 has a similar panel B. The rear wall 0 is provided with an outwardly pressed panel C, all of whose corners are inwardly rounded.

Each of the side walls A B at the rear side of their respective panels is provided with an outwardly-pressed perforated boss E at top and bottom.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new therein, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a. scale-frame member substantially as herein shown and described.
