DESIGN FOR A CADDY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,525, dated Novernber e, 1906.
Application filed August 20. 1900. Serial No. 27,509- Term of patent 31- years- To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSEPH B. LONG, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Caddies, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which are made a part of said specification, and in whieh Figure 1 is a perspective view of a caddy embodying the new design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation thereof with the legs broken.
A caddy of the new design has a body the back and end walls of which are flat and vertical, while its front wall comprises a large panel C, the outer surface of which is curved in vertical planes, and a narrow raised strip or rib D, extending along the upper margin of the panel C and having along its horizontal margins iuturned flanges d. The top of the caddy comprises a narrow flat portion E, disposed horizontally, a plurality of lids F, which are of curved cross-section and which present the appearance of sunken curved panels, their end margins being covered and concealed by curved ribs or strips, and a narrow raised strip 2, disposed between E and F. The upper margins of the ends G are curved to correspond with the lids F. The body is supported by legs H at its four corners.
The leading essential features of the new design are the body having the front panel C, extending from end to end of the body and having its outer surface curved in vertical planes, and the curved lids F, presenting the appearance of sunken panels.
Minor features of the design are the narrow raised strip or rib D, extending from end to end of the body and disposed above the curved panel C and below the curved lids F, and the iuturned flanges (1, extending along the horizontal margins of the strip or rib D.

The design for a caddy substantially as herein shown and described.
