DESIGN FOR A BODY FOR CADDIES.
To all whom t may concern,.-
Beit known that I, JOSEPH B. LONG, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Body of a Caddy, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which are made a part of said specification, and in which- Figure l is a perspective view of the body of a caddy embodying the new design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation thereof.
The new design comprises a hollow body of substantially rectangular shape in horizontal section, the interior of which is divided by vertical partitions A into a plurality of vertical compartments B. Its back and end walls are I'lat and vertical, while its front wall coinprises a iiat panel C, surmounted by a narrow raised strip or rib D, extending from end to end of the body and having alongits horizontal margin int-urned flanges d. The top comprises a narrow flat portion E, adjoining the back and disposed horizontally. The upper margins of the partitions A and of the ends F are inclined downward and forward and eX- tend from the front margin of the strip E t0 the top margin of the front of the body. The body is supported by legs G at its four corners.
The leading essential features of the design are the hollow body, having a flat front and Hat ends, and the .vertical partitions, dividing the interior of the body into a plurality of vertical compartments, the upper margins of the partitions and ends of the body being inclined downward and forward.
Minor features of the design are the narrow raised rib D, extending along the upper margin of the ilat front C, the inturned flanges d, extending along the horizontal margins of the rib D, the narrow strip E, surmounting the partitions A and ends F and adjoining the back, and the legs at the four corners of a body having the general shape and configuration above described.

The design for the body of a caddy su bstantially as herein shown and described.
