DESIGN FOR AN ADVERTISING-CABINET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,210, dated July 11, 1899.

Application filed June 1'7, 1899. Serial No. 720,993. Term of patent 8% years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ARTHUR J. ONnrnn, a citizen of the United States, residing at Prairie du Ohien, in the county of Crawford and State of Wisconsin, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for an Advertising-Cabinet for Show-Vindows, (be, of which the following, in connection with the accompanying drawings, is a full, clear, and exact specification.

In the said drawings, Figure 1 is a front or face view of an advertising-cabinet embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.

The leading features of my design consist of an advertising-cabinet having the horizontally-elongated swelled front B, provided with an opening C, and the second opening A, formed in the front of the cabinet.

The front of the cabinet in general outline is rectangular and has the opening A located at the center of its upper half and ina vertical position, the opening A being of oblong 'form. On either side of the opening'A is located a vertical oblong panel D, while immediately over the opening A is arranged a curved panel E, which is surmounted by an arch F, studded at short intervals with globular projections G, the center of the panel B being provided with a circular frame H, and

over each of the panels D is arranged a panel I, surmounted by an arch J of smaller radius th an the arch F. The front of the cabinet below the openingA and the panels D is swelled forwardly, like three sides K L M of an 00 tagon, the panels which constitute such three sides K L M being arranged longitudinally, as shown in Fig. 1, and the middle one, L, being provided with the opening C, which is longitudinally elongated. The lower side M terminates on the front of the cabinet a short distance above the base, so as to leave below it a vertical surface N. The sides of the cabinet near the base are provided with moldings O. The cabinet thus designed presents to the observer the general appearance of a cabinet having two openings of comparatively large dimensions arranged one above the. other and at an angle to each other with a slanting surface between them.

Having thus described myinvention, what I claim as new therein, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is- The design for an advertising-cabinet substantially as herein shown and described.
