SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,228, dated February 13, 1900. Application filed December 15, 1899. Serial No. 740,475- Term oi patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, IVILLIAM H. MCDON- ALD, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Titusville, in the county of Crawford and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Garden-Hoe, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.

y invention relates to certain new and novel designs in garden-hoes.

The design consists of the novel outline and configuration set forth in the accompanying drawing.

In describing the design in detail reference is had to the accompanying drawing, formits free end. The hoe-blade 2 is fiat and snlr stantially rectangular in contour and has its upper edge formed into a pair of c rves 3, each inner end thereof meeting each other centrally of the hoe-blade. The side edges of the hoe-blade at their lower portion converge inwardly, as at 6.

5 indicates a series of inverted curvilinear V-shaped slits, the sides of which meet at their upper end and form apoint and at their lower end converge outwardly and in connection with the lower curved ends of the sides form a series of fiat curvilinear pointed prongs.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for a garden-hoe, substantially as herein shown and described.
