DESIGN FOR A CUFF.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,028, dated May 4, 1897. Application filed March 22,1897. Serial No. 628,788. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, FRANK YOUNG, a citizen of the United States, residing at Knights Landing, in the county of Yolo and State of California, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Cuffs; and do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

My invention relates to a new and original design for a eufi'; and it consists of a cutl? of the outline and configuration shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a plan view of the cult-blank, and Fig. l is a view of a cuff when folded in position for use.

The leading features of my design are set forth in the following description.

The cuit is of substantially rectangular form and has its upper corners rounded, as

shown at A, and creased, as shown at B, to produce the flap C. Extensions D project from the ends of the cuff, and the upper end E of one of these extensions is straight, while the upper end F of the other extension is rounded. Each of these extensions is provided with two slits G, arranged one above the other.

Having thus described my design, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-

The design fora cuff, substantially as herein shown and described.
