FRANK TUUIIFARBER, OF CINCINNATI, OIIIO.
DESIGN FOR A SIGN.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,183, dated January 30, 1900.
Application filed December 7, 1899. Serial He.'i59,576. Term of patent 7 years.
To (LZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRANK 'luenrllnnnn, a citizen of the United States, residing at (tineinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Signs; and I do de clare the following to be a fuihelear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a side View of a sign, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a front View of the sign. Fig. 3 is a rear View of the sign, and Fig. 4 is a top or plan view of the sign.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of the new design consists in the triangular body 1, having two paneled sides 2 2 and one plane rear side 3, the body being surmounted by a pyramidal hood 6, the apex of which is near the rear of the sign, so that the two triangular sides 7 7 of the hood, which overlie the paneled sides 2 of the body, are inclined down toward the upper edges of said sides, while the rear triangular side 8 of said hood is similarly inclined down toward the upper edge of the rear wall of the body. The panels of the sides 2 are surrounded each by a rectangular raised band or border 4, the outer edge of which is formed into a protruding head 4", extending entirely around each of the sides 2 2. The protruding heads 4 at the front edges of the paneled sides 2 are spaced apart to produce avertical channel or recess 5, extended along the front of the sign from top to bottom of the body 1.
Having thus described my invention, I claim- The design for a sign, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
FRANK TUCIIFARBER.
