To @ZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WILHELM SCHWENK, a subject of the Emperor of Germany, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Wall- Brackets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompan ying drawings, forming part thereof.
In the drawings forming part of this speciication, Figure l is a plan or front view of a Wall-bracket, showing my new design; and Fig. 2, a transverse section thereof on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a back portion or plate A, having the form of a shield, which is provided with a front portion B of similar shape, having two transverse and oblong openings b and b2 formed therein, the upper opening b being larger and deeper or wider than the lower opening b2.
The openings b and b2, formed in the front portion B of the design, are provided with corresponding doors or flaps 0 and C2, hinged to the bottom thereof and formed by cutting out said openings, and these doors orfiaps are connected midway of their width with the back portion A by flexible straps D, and each of said doors or liaps is provided with an ornamental front plate -E similar in form thereto and having an ornamental border F.
The doors or fiaps C and C2 form pockets G, and at the bottom of the bracket and eentrally thereof is a receptacle H, open at the top and bottom, and above and at each sid of said receptacle H are hooks K.
Having fully described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a wall-bracket as herein shown and described.
