DESIGN FOR SKIRT OR GARNIENT BINDING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,206, dated August 9, 1898.
Application led July '7, 1898. Serial No. 685,351. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern,.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE II. STEDWELL, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Hackensack, in the county of Bergen and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design* for Skirt or Garment Binding, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the aecompanying drawings, formingapart thereof.
The leading feature of my design consists of a skirt or garment binding presenting a head or body portion and a serrated edge portion oiset from one side of the head or body portion and projecting below the lower edge of the head or body portion.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure l represents a face View of the skirt or garment binding. Fig. 2 represents a reverse face View of the skirt or garment binding, and Fig. 3 represents a cross-section.
The head or body portion is denoted by A, and the serrated edge, oi'fset from one face of the body portion, is denoted by B.
As additional and less pronounced features of the design the head or body portion presents on its face a series of horizontal lines, and a line of stitching b is presented on the face of the serrated edge B.
What I claim is- The design for a skirt or garment binding, substantially as herein shown and described.
