DESIGN FOR A FENCE-STRAND.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ALONZO l3. \VOODARD, a citizen of the United States, residing at llornellsviile, in the county of Steuben and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Fence- Strands, of which the following is aspecification.

, This design has for its object to provide a HOVGL'OIHFHHGHULL and distinguishing fencestrand, and the leading features thereof reside in two longitudinal continuously-undulated lines and lines which alternately run in the reverse diagonal directions and alternately meet at points between the two undulated lines, and right, lines extending from such meetingpoints across the undulated lines, some of the undulated portions of the latter being between said right lines.

In the accompanying drawings illustrating my design, the figure is a plan view of a portion of a fencestrand.

In the drawing, the rei'ercnconumerals l and 2 indicate the two longitudinal continuously-nndnlated lines, and 4 and G the lines which alternately run in reverse diagonal directions and meet alternately at the point 7 between the undnlated lines. From such meeting-points 7 the right lines 5 extend across the undulated lines, and some of the nndulated portions 3 of the latter lines are between the right lines 5.

The peculiar arrangementand form shown presents an ornamental, attractive, and distinguishing appearance.
