DESIGN FOR A CONCENTRATOR-BAND.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,578, dated May 10, 1898.
Application filed February 10, 1897. Serial No. 622,863. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE JOHNSTON, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city and county of San Francisco, State of California, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Concentrator-Bands, of which the following is a specification.
Figure I is a transverse section across a concentrator-band, showing the contour and configuration of my design. Fig. II is a fiat view of the band, the top end being curved as it appears when passing over the rollers on which such bands are mounted.
My design consists, essentially, of a parallel web A, integral with the ribs or flanges B, the sides thereof parallel, and their thickness from a to a about three times that of the web A and the height thereof about four times the thickness of the web, semicircular on the top and symmetrical on each side of the axes a: :0, except as to the junction of the web A at the bottom of each rib or flange.
Having thus described the distinctive features of my design for a concentrator-band, What I claim is- The design for an ore-concentrator band, substantially as shown and described.
