DESIGN FOR A WATER-METER CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,697, dated September 28, 1897'.

To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE E. BAssET'r, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for ater-Meter Cases, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a top plan View of a case which embodies my new design. Fig. 2 is an end elevation of the ease shown in Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of the ease with a substantially circular body and with meeting flanges having two straight and parallel side edges and four corners, in each of which is located a flange-bolt.
A is the upper part of the111eter-case,which has the flange 13 formed on its meeting edge with two straight parallel sides. A is the lower part of the metencase, which has the flange 13' formed on its meeting edge with two straight parallel sides. In the four corners of the meeting flanges at (T are located the four bolts D.
